This session will explore the ways today's bloggers can have their voice heard by traditional publishers.

We will examine techniques and and steps needed to win over top tier reporters from the WSJ, New York Times, network television, major personal-finance portals and local TV stations.

We will examine using the power of Linkedin to connect with journalists, how to build a media list and the correct way of formatting emails to journalists you have no connection with. We will also explore what you should do once you gain coverage and ways to capitalize on it.
